How do you start your day? Do you roll out of bed and stumble over to the bathroom to start getting ready for your day? Let’s try a different way! Here’s what I do and the reasons why:

First I meditate. This relaxes my body and mind and puts me in a good mood from the start. I feel like I am ready for the day and starting out with a good, clear frame of mind. I usually meditate while lying in bed, or if it’s a sunny morning, I’ll sit by the window. This doesn’t have to take long – usually 10 to 15 minutes is adequate.

Second, I exercise lightly. I do some stretches, and lift some light weights. This helps get my entire body awake and ready to move.

Why not try this approach tomorrow morning? Keep it up for one week, then let me know the results.

  1. Today my day started off right by waking up with good thoughts and giving thanks for another day. Next I made a J’Essential Blend Healthy Hydration Water to invigorate me through my day. Infusion of Blueberries, ginger, cucumber, watermelon and cilantro…is so Delish!!
